Plan a golf visit before choosing a general boat trip
The course was designed by Bernhard Langer. Its island setting is part of the attraction, but the useful decisions for your visit are practical ones: what you are booking, when you need to arrive and how you will return.
Use the golf shuttle arrangements
The official island information distinguishes the golf-club shuttle from the leisure-island shuttle. Both relate to Pointe Maurice, but they serve different jetties and have different published operating arrangements. Do not substitute a leisure timetable for instructions attached to your golf visit.
Keep the tee time, required arrival instructions and transfer together. If you have a separate ground pickup, give the driver the confirmed departure location. A pin for the island itself does not tell a driver where to leave you.

Distinguish a round from an introductory session
The official activity page describes golf-academy opportunities for beginners and non-golfers as well as the course. That makes an introduction a separate possibility to investigate, not evidence that every visitor can join a full round without further arrangements.
Choose according to your experience and the time you want to devote to golf. Confirm the requirements of the selected activity, including anything you need to bring or arrange. This guide does not invent handicap rules, equipment inclusion or a standard length for every visit.
Make a plan for non-playing companions
A group can have different priorities on the same island day. Some people may want to play, while others prefer beach time or a meal. Plan those activities and their transfers explicitly rather than assuming that one golf booking covers the whole party.
Agree the regrouping point and return arrangement before separating. A beach visit, clubhouse meal and round of golf may finish at different times or places. The plan works when each person knows their own arrangements and how they connect.

Compare the total using current terms
A useful golf budget separates the golf activity, any equipment or instruction, transport and food. The exact inclusions belong to the current booking. Do not compare a green-fee headline with an island day package as if they were the same product.
Course operating arrangements can change, and an island setting does not guarantee uninterrupted play. Keep the current weather and booking terms in view when planning the rest of the day.
Choose the rest of the island visit around the golf
If golf is the main purpose, give it the time it needs and keep the additional programme light. A meal or overnight stay may fit naturally, but each needs its own confirmation. Avoid attaching a separate tightly timed cruise to a golf schedule that has not yet been agreed.
For a mainly beach-focused day with only an introduction to golf, establish the session first and choose a crossing that supports it. The island access and dining guides help connect those pieces without treating all island services as one package.
